Air Jordan 1 High 'David Letterman'

The Air Jordan 1 High 'David Letterman' (2016) draws directly from a pivotal off-court moment in Michael Jordan’s early career, translating a memorable television appearance into a bold and culturally resonant sneaker. Inspired by the outfit worn by Michael Jordan during his 1986 guest appearance on Late Night with David Letterman, this release captures the intersection of sport, media, and style that helped define Jordan’s global persona. With its striking color palette and premium construction, the sneaker stands as a storytelling piece within the broader Air Jordan 1 lineage—bridging basketball heritage with pop culture influence.

Overview
The Air Jordan 1 High 'David Letterman' features a smooth white leather base, contrasted by vibrant orange overlays that wrap around the mudguard, eyestays, heel, and collar. Black leather accents appear on the Swoosh, collar, and laces, delivering a sharp visual balance while anchoring the bold color scheme. The orange hue is a direct nod to the warm-up tracksuit worn by Jordan during his Late Night with David Letterman interview, making this release one of the more narrative-driven designs in the Air Jordan catalog. Additional details include a black Wings logo stamped on the collar and classic Nike Air branding on the tongue, staying true to the original 1985 design language. A white midsole paired with an orange rubber outsole completes the look, offering both durability and timeless appeal. As with all pairs available through PUSHAS, authenticity is rigorously verified by experts, ensuring buyers receive only genuine products.
